Bubba Wallace calls out Noah Gragson over ‘unacceptable’ Bill Murray handshake at Gateway

https://ift.tt/nhIsYGb During the NASCAR drivers meeting today, Bill Murray was in attendance as the Enjoy Illinois 300 Grand Marshal. Bubba Wallace had to call out fellow driver Noah Gragson after the actor introduced himself to all of the racers at the meeting. It’s always awkward shaking someone’s hand whom you are supposed to know but don’t. That is even more awkward and embarrassing when that person happens to be one of the most famous human beings on the planet. Bubba Wallace is doing what he has to do, snitching on Noah Gragson for his transgression. I mean…how do you not know BILL FREAKIN’ MURRAY! “A lot of yall [sic] love [Noah Gragson], but homeboy had no idea who Bill F&$$k’n Murray was as he shook his hand… unacceptable,” Wallace wrote on X/Twitter. Now look, I’m not the biggest pop culture guy in the world. There are many very famous people I couldn’t name or recognize out of a lineup. Bill Murray is kind of in another category, though. He’s almost an American ...

59-0. 49-0. 48-0. Those were some halftime scores across college football on Saturday

https://ift.tt/Ioh8MWb Week 2 in college football is starting with some seriously one-sided scores. These were halftime scores from Saturday afternoon: Minnesota led Northwestern State 59-0, Florida State led East Texas A&M 49-0 and Texas Tech led Kent State 48-0. According to Stats LLC, that made Saturday the first day since Sept. 10, 2016, that three major college football teams had leads of 48 or more points by halftime on the same day. And there is the potential for more one-sided scores as the day goes along, with No. 1 Ohio State facing Football Championship Subdivision member Grambling State. “They've got a great band and we have a great band, and we're going to compete as a band,” Grambling State coach Mickey Joseph said in a quote that went viral during the week. “I'm just joking right now. We understand what we're getting into. We understand what's going to happen. We understand it. It's not balanced with the scholarships, it's not balanced...

Wonderkid Winger Discusses Missed Liverpool Summer Move

https://ift.tt/s0yLUuZ Wonderkid Winger Discusses Missed Liverpool Summer Move Fofana Opens Up on Liverpool Interest and Career Decision Transfer intrigue around Lyon’s rising star Liverpool’s search for attacking reinforcements this summer inevitably brought Malick Fofana’s name into the frame. The Lyon winger, just 20 years of age, had impressed across Ligue 1 last season with 11 goals and 6 assists, a contribution that positioned him among the brightest young talents in Europe. With Luis Díaz departing Anfield, speculation quickly grew that Fofana could be the long-term successor. Yet, as Fofana has now revealed, while interest was genuine, it never edged close to reality. “There was interest from those two clubs, but ultimately nothing concrete,” he told Het Belang van Limburg , referencing both Liverpool and Chelsea. Why Liverpool chose another path Liverpool’s decision was shaped less by hesitation over Fofana’s quality and more by their conviction in homegrown talent. L...

Trojans turn tide on Greenup

https://ift.tt/Ioh8MWb PORTSMOUTH — Perhaps Portsmouth didn't get the Friday memo that moved up the Trojans' kickoff against visiting Greenup County by a full half-hour. But once that traditional kickoff time of 7 p.m. hit, the Trojans turned the sands in the proverbial hour glass —and turned the tide for the final 44 minutes on the Musketeers. That's because Portsmouth scored the final 24 points, and grounded Greenup County to 25 rushing yards —en route to a 24-9 runaway win in the annual Ohio River Shootout, taking place on Friday night inside spectacular Trojan Coliseum. "It took us a while to wake up. I would love to look at the clock and see if it was at 7 p.m. when we finally woke up," said PHS head coach Bruce Kalb. "Here we are starting a half-hour early and it almost was like 'it's time to play football'. Because we don't give up, we are resilient, we are tough and we can face adversity. We will came out in the end with resolve. I...

Sean McVay shares ideal injury update ahead of Rams vs. Texans on Sunday

https://ift.tt/U73Ldkb Barring an unexpected change in the coming days, there won’t be a single injury concern for the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. They’re going to be at full strength against the Houston Texans, having “all hands on deck” for the season opener, Sean McVay said Friday. That includes Ahkello Witherspoon, who was listed as a non-participant in practice on Thursday due to a knee injury. McVay told reporters that Witherspoon is expected to play against Houston and the team was simply being cautious with him before the game. Matthew Stafford will also get the start at quarterback and Alaric Jackson will be the Rams’ starting left tackle, which is great news for the entire offense. McVay said everyone will be available for the Rams on Sunday vs. Texans: "We expect to have all hands on deck ready to roll" https://t.co/OeENnwge4m — Stu Jackson (@StuJRams) September 5, 2025 McVay did note that Jackson and Rob Havenstein will be listed on Friday's injury re...
