The UCLA Bruins fired head coach DeShaun Foster on Sunday.
The move, which followed UCLA's 35-10 Week 3 loss to New Mexico, is the Big Ten's first coaching change this season.
Foster took the UCLA job entering the 2024 season after former coach Chip Kelly left for Ohio State's vacant offensive coordinator position. The former standout running back, who played for the program from 1998-01, had been the Bruins' running backs coach since 2017. His tenure as head coach is now over after just 15 games.
The Bruins went 5-7 under his leadership in 2024 before their current 0-3 start to 2025. In addition to Friday's 35-10 loss to New Mexico, UCLA fell to Utah and UNLV 43-10 and 30-23, respectively. The team is down to No. 93 in ESPN's Football Power Index, the worst ranking of any team in the conference.
Assistant coach Tim Skipper will coach the Bruins in the interim.

UCLA is not on Wisconsin's 2025 schedule. The Badgers are, however, set to travel to Pasadena, California, for a game next season. UCLA will have new leadership for that contest.
