France international midfielder Paul Pogba (32) will sign a two-year deal with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, according to reports from Le Parisien and Foot MercatoThe 32-year-old World Cup winner with France will play in Ligue 1 for the first time, after spending most of his professional career with Juventus and Manchester United.

Pogba was a free agent following his contract termination with Juventus last year. The Le Havre Academy product hasn’t featured in a professional game since September 2023. A couple of days later, Pogba tested positive during a routine anti-doping test. He was handed a four-year ban, which was then reduced to eighteen months.

Le Parisien understands that the France international midfielder made financial sacrifices to reach an agreement in principle with Les Monégasques. Monaco concluded the past Ligue 1 campaign in third place, thus sealing their qualification for the Champions League.
