For all of the injury woes concerning the Los Angeles Dodgers, namely to Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, and now Roki Sasaki, there is still plenty of positivity in the organization.
For one, they are 1/2 games behind the New York Mets for the National League lead. Los Angeles still has the most impressive roster top to bottom in baseball, and despite some hiccups, should feel satisfied with its start.
Secondly, the Dodgers are calling up top prospect, catcher/outfielder Dalton Rushing, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic:

Rushing, the team’s No. 1 prospect, has been stellar for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The 24-year-old is batting .308 with a .938 OPS, five home runs, and 21 walks to 29 strikeouts this season. This is no oddity, either, as Rushing has catapulted through the minors over the last four years.
After debuting professionally in 2022, Rushing has taken the accelerated path to Triple-A. He required only 78 games with Double-A Tulsa to get the call-up, and has now taken the next and biggest step in his career so far.
Rushing’s spot on this team is not as clear as if he had been a pitcher brought up for spot starters or bullpen appearances. As a primary catcher, he has a difficult path to regular playing time with all-star Will Smith and sturdy veteran Austin Barnes still around.
Out of his 31 games for Oklahoma City, Rushing has seen time at catcher (132 and 1/3 innings), first base (69 innings), left field (10 innings), and designated hitter. Perhaps he takes reps at the seven, where regular starter Michael Conforto has failed to figure it out at the plate in the early goings.
Wherever he lines up, this is an exciting time for Dodgers fans as their next potential star has arrived.
