SPOKANE, Wash. – LSU women's basketball trailed NC State by four with under five minutes remaining in the Sweet 16 game.

The Tigers closed the game on an 18-7 run to comeback and advance in March Madness, beating the Wolfpack, 80-73.

LSU (31-5) moves on the play No. 1 overall seed UCLA (33-2) in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament inside Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington Sunday afternoon (2 p.m. CT, ABC).

Kim Mulkey guided the Tigers to a 78-69 win over the Bruins in the Sweet 16 last season in Albany, New York.
