Giants sign RHP Trevor Rosenthal to $4.5M, one-year deal

Right-handed reliever Trevor Rosenthal signed a $4.5 million, one-year contract with the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. Rosenthal has a chance to pitch in the majors for the first time since 2020. In addition, Rosenthal also could make $1 million in performance bonuses for games finished: $100,000 for 12 games; $150,000 for 15; and $250,000 each for 18, 21 and 24 games.
