Robert Hight topped Funny Car qualifying in the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals at Worldwide Technology Raceway. A year after breaking his collarbone during a crash in the final round, Hight had a 3.877-second run at 334.90 mph in a Chevrolet Camaro. ''We had high hopes,'' Hight said.
